If you were out at Warner Park for our July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza, you know the energy that night was electric. And with good reason — 43,987 people joined us on the lawn to celebrate. That’s a new record!

The 12-piece powerhouse Doctor Wu had everyone singing along to the classic, smooth sounds of Steely Dan. Pair that with the soulful Malibu Horns, dozens of local food trucks, and a spectacular 20-minute fireworks display and it was without a doubt one of our most memorable celebrations yet.

As these joyful community gatherings make clear, nothing brings the San Fernando Valley together like live music.

50 Years in the Rearview, a Bright Future Ahead
We just wrapped up an incredible year-long celebration marking 50 years of Valley Cultural Foundation. Now in our 51st year, we’re more passionate than ever about what’s ahead.
For decades, we’ve brought the San Fernando Valley together through free Sunday concerts, neighborhood pop-up performances, and community events like this year’s Paint n’ Sip and Holiday Arts & Music Festival. These family-friendly gatherings celebrate the incredible diversity of talent, culture, and community that make the Valley such a special place to call home.
As we look toward the next 50 years, our mission remains the same: to bring people together through accessible arts and entertainment while celebrating the rich diversity of our community. And we’re just getting started.
To keep these concerts entirely free to the public, it takes a village. Here’s how you can help.
Ways You Can Support the Music
It takes dozens of hands and hearts behind the scenes to produce the concerts our community has come to love. To continue our 50-year tradition of free live music, we count on people like you to help make the magic happen.
- Become a Volunteer: Want the best seat in the house? Join our volunteer team! It’s a fun way to meet your neighbors and give back to the community.
- Donate: If everyone who attended the 4th of July celebration gave just $10, the entire concert season could be fully funded. Consider making a gift online today, or upgrading to VCF Member Seating for a premium view.
A Quick Reminder on Park Etiquette: Canopies and umbrellas are welcome as you wait for the show to begin. For the enjoyment of everyone around you, please take them down once the announcements start so we all can see the stage. To ensure a safe and healthy lawn, we ask that ground stakes not be used.
See you this Sunday at the park!
