This honor is part of the 3rd Annual Valley Community Leadership Awards, recognizing local leaders for their invaluable contributions to the San Fernando Valley and the broader community.

Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel
Joellen Ammann’s dedication to the community and community service led her to the Valley Cultural Foundation in 2014 when she started as a volunteer. In 2019, she officially joined the staff, and in 2022, when the organization’s CEO, Nora Ross, passed away, Ammann took on the role of leading the organization. As a longtime West Valley resident, she has also been involved in various boards, from Sunrise Little League to the Valley Traffic Advisory Board. Her commitment to serving the community has been unwavering.
