The Valley Cultural Foundation announced Gina Guarino from Held Properties will be the 2021 Chair of the Board of Directors.
Gina has had a long history in Woodland Hills as a resident and community leader for over 17 years. She was a member of the VCF Board first in 2017 and is now rejoining in 2021. Her can-do attitude and support throughout the years, whether on the board or not, has been invaluable to the community and our programs. Gina has participated in many of our events throughout the years, including our annual gala as a dancer, exemplifying her commitment to her community both at home and at work.
We are fortunate to have such a dedicated, high energy leader who will help us fulfill our mission to embrace diversity of talent, community, business and education by providing live entertainment programs and events in the arts.
Prior to Gina becoming the Director of Leasing and Marketing at Held Properties in Century City, Gina worked as a property manager for the Douglas Emmett facilities in Woodland Hills.
Taking on this leadership position while also continuing to thrive in her career and home life is a challenge that Gina was made for.
The 2021 Officers include: CFO Hamed Khorsand, Beating Wall Street; Secretary Frank Daftari, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse; Board Members Helen Christensen, State Fund Insurance; Brian Parent, General Manager, Westfield Topanga/The Village; Melvin Galloway, Project DLC; and Cherry Maurice and Glenda Patton, Community Leaders.
