The Soul Juice Band with Emerging Artist: Sarah Daye
Blazing Soul, Funk, Rock and Jazz with a wall of horns is how some would describe The Soul Juice Band. However, a multi-genre “song writing” band is how they would describe themselves. The band combines 5 blazing horns, a screaming B3 organ, heavy guitar riffs and a gritty, soulful singer to create a dynamic fusion of heavy soundscape that is unique in the music industry. The band released their initial self-titled album “The Soul Juice Band” to rave reviews in 2022 with three of their singles featured on Pandora’s curated Amp playlist. With their second album release expected in June/July 2024, the band is readying to release their 3 song EP “Pocket Full of Soul” which features three re-arranged Soul Covers including songs by Stevie Wonder and Wayne Cochran.
The Soul Juice Band broke out in 2017 when they were recognized as “The Best Brass Band” in Las Vegas for 2017 by NPR Nevada in the Desert Companion Magazine and since then they have been booked all around the western United States. The band shines as a festival performer and was pegged to play in the 2022 “Life is Beautiful Festival” in Vegas owned by Rolling Stone and one of the biggest music festivals in the world. They recently played for the large Las Vegas Super Bowl Event, “The Sober Bowl” and other festival credits include The Pigs for Kids Festival, Neon Reverb Festival, UNLV Reb Fest, The New Vista Craft Beer Festival, The Las Vegas Downtown Beer Festival, The Las Vegas Sangria Festival, Las Vegas Foodie Fest, Las Vegas Soul Festival and the Zion Canyon Music Festival where they shared main stage status with Fishbone as one of the festival headliners. The band also continues their yearly artist in residence workshops for high school students with the City of LA Cultural Works Department culminating in a concert incorporating high school students playing live with the band.
The band has opened for national acts Niki Crawford, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, The New Breed Brass Band, Arise Roots and Los Stellarians.
Laying down their funky and soulful originals with a wall of 5 horns, this is a band you have to see live to feel the full Soul Juice Band experience. The band is made up of gritty, lead vocalist Dave Tatlock, keyboardist/band leader David Rogers, guitarist Joe Bonasorte, bass player Alan Butterfield and drummer Jared Leaper. Two trumpet players, Michael Rabadan and Pete Bresciani ; trombone player, Kevin Mullinax; Bari sax player Adam Schroeder, and tenor sax player Mat Schumer round out the band and help create the band’s signature “heavy” sound.

International acclaimed Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter & entertainer extraordinaire Sarah Daye, is a Canadian LA-based songstress who has Independently toured successfully from Canada, across South East Asia six years performing and living in 5 countries across the region after getting her start in her home of Toronto, Canada where she came up dancing professionally first and sang with her dad who serenaded her at her bedside many years.
The musical inspiration and discipline eventually led Sarah to audition and get accepted to study at one of Canada’s top private Musical Theatre Colleges in The Six as a triple threat. Sarah still to this day prides herself in being raised in Toronto surrounded by amazingly diverse talent and culture that also Influenced her greatly in becoming the artist she is today.

Parking is available at structures located at 21800 Califa Street across from the park for free entry to our Concerts and July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza at Warner Ranch Park – 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd. Woodland Hills, CA 91367. Signs are clearly posted. Parking fees are a donation to Valley Cultural Foundation and allow us to continue our longstanding tradition of bringing music and the arts to our West Valley.

Event parking begins at 4:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you will need to pull a ticket to enter the structure and pay full price when you leave. Loitering is not allowed in parking structure. Trespassing is prohibited.
