The Music of Earth, Wind & Fire, featuring The Al McKay Allstars

Al McKay AllstarsFive-time Grammy award winner, Al McKay, has set standards of excellence throughout his career. Besides being one of the driving forces behind The Emotions, Denice Williams and the phenomenal success of Earth, Wind and Fire, Al McKay has continued to grace countless recording sessions with his trademark rhythm guitar style that has kept him at the forefront of his profession for nearly 30 years.

Al McKay became a founding member of Earth, Wind and Fire; a group that in just under ten years became the world’s number one touring band with album sales exceeding 40 million units worldwide. Besides being an intricate part of the group’s “rhythmic ‘meat to the bone’ sound,” McKay’s writing skills also contributed numerous, double platinum compositions such as “Sing A Song”, “Saturday Night”, “Best of My Love” and the Grammy award nominated, “September.” In 2000, He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the other original members of Earth, Wind and Fire.
