Fun and amazing demonstrations of TWO modern dog sports:

The first half of our show will feature Musical Canine Freestyle! In this sport, handler/dog teams create dance performances choreographed to display not only their talent, but teamwork, creativity, joy and the bond the teams share. Freestyle has gotten extremely popular since Ashleigh and her dog “Pudsey” won “Britain’s Got Talent” last year and you’ll learn why when you see our adorable performers. Enjoy lively individual routines plus an extraordinary group performance finale!

In the second half of our show, you’ll be amazed by our K9 Nose Work Dogs! All dogs have an amazing sense of smell and can use this natural ability to help people is many ways, including bomb and drug detection, medical alerts, search and rescue, arson investigation, and more

K9 Nose Work is a new sport based on this kind of detection training. Handlers train their dogs to find specific scents, then the dogs compete to sniff them out in “hides”. Watch the dogs hunt for a single drop of scent – you won’t believe your eyes!

After the show, the performers will be on hand to meet you and your family – our four-footed actors look forward to your petting (and won’t mind a treat or two, either!).

Mark Beckwith is an internationally published children’s singer-songwriter. His credits include hit kid-songs on Knowledge Adventure’s (Vivendi-Universal) award winning, interactive-educational Jump-Start series. Mark has appeared on Nickelodeon and the Family Channel. He has won awards from Billboard magazine, the Family Channel, and USA Today. As a professional musician for over 25 years, Mark has toured the U.S. and Canada.

Obediah Thomas has 20 years experience as a professional comic and juggler. He is also a skilled trumpet player and vocalist with a BA degree from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Obediah has also performed internationally from Hong Kong to Chicago and has been an opening act from Kiss to Tony Bennett. He was a frequent guest-performing artist on the Bozo’s Super Sunday television show.

He is participating breaking the Guinness World Record May 18^th, 2012 with Rock the Rhythm, Beat the Odds at the COC Cougar Stadium with 6^th and 7^th graders in five Santa Clarita School districts. Drumming with over 7000 children and 4000 adults.
