2010 Concerts on the Green

The Valley Cultural Center has presented free Concerts in the park every summer since 1975. Concerts, featuring rock, classical, jazz, R&B, Latino pop, country, cowboy, Dixieland, folk and more, entertain more than 100,000 Valley residents and visitors each year. Concerts in the Park are the cornerstone of Sunday afternoons in the Valley.

In 2009 we expanded our food court to 20 vendors and expanded the children’s play area to encourage and support family activity. In addition, our Corporate Village was expanded to 50 vendors.

This year, VCC will celebrate its 35th Anniversary season of concerts in the park by sustaining the arts and being a good steward to the park we all enjoy. Concerts in the Park will now be known as Concerts on the Green. Find out more about our Green Initiatives for 2010.

Movies on the Green 2010

VCC has expanded our outdoor programming at Warner Park to include Movies on the Green. Outdoor family movies are presented on Saturday evenings, July 17th through August 28th, 7PM – 10PM, projected on a 30’ screen with digital projection and 7.1 surround sound. All of the amenities you have come accustomed to with Concerts will be there for your enjoyment. We are pleased to be working with Shelley’s Stereo and Video of Woodland Hills as the Presenting Sponsor of this project.
