Finding Beauty

The Valley Cultural Center and P&G Salon Professional are filling the arts education void in local middle schools with “Finding Beauty,” a 12-week pilot after-school jazz band and mural painting project at Portola Middle School in Reseda.

Over time, “Finding Beauty” will offer music, dance, the visual arts, and photography. Later in the year, a second school will be chosen to pilot dance and photography programs. Once established, the four “Finding Beauty” programs will rotate through select Valley middle schools. Participating schools will be chosen on an as needs basis.

The Valley Cultural Center is delighted to partner with P&G Salon Professional in providing much-needed arts programs for our local middle schools.
